Hi all, I bought a second hand M8 about a month ago. It is a European handset with CID HTC__001 (locked) S-On and was running 6.12.401.4. All was good and working as it should. After a week or so I got itchy to flash a ROM so went for TWRP 3.0.1 and Viper. Now i started to get problems i.e battery would die at about 30%, Bluetooth problems and could'nt get Adaway to stick after reboot(did not notice any camera issues.
So i relocked bootloader, and ran the 6.12.401.4 RUU from here on XDA to put the phone back to stock (relocked). That's when I noticed the camera issue. Vertical lines on pictures taken with the rear camera (see attached pic). Now the lines don't appear all the time. When the phone is charging i have not seen any issues. When the battery is between 50%-30% if the lines are present and i take a pic the phone will freeze, the battery low tone plays and the phone will shut off.
Ive tried calibrating the battery, flashing different ROMs and factory resets.
Its doing my head in. I cant tell if its a battery fault, camera sensor fault or firmware.
Has anyone experienced this problem?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
