Flash T-Mobile ROM to AT&T S7 Edge variant?

I've heard it's possible to flash the T-Mobile stock ROM to the AT&T S4, since the hardware is identical. I'm wondering if it's also possible on the S7 Edge. My guess is that they'd continue with the identical hardware pattern and it would be possible, but I'd just like to double check. The last thing I want is to brick my $600 phone. :)

If it is, are there any tricks I should be aware of? Do I need to flash an AT&T kernel?
