Disappointed in the Rumors So Far

As these leaks start flowing I'm only getting more and more disappointed in this device. Have really been hoping for 1)A very high end device or 2) An affordable device with flasgship-esue specs. Both of these look like they will not be happening.

- Should be getting the 821 at this point. Yes, it's just an OC'd 820 but it's late in the year. 820 is already months old.
- Waterproofing. This should be standard at this point. Not a huge factor but this is now a premium device, it should have all the features.
- OEM Unlock? With Verizon as a partner as well as the XDA article yesterday on root with multiple partitions, looks like this may not be as easy as before.
- Very bland looking. If I'm going to be paying $700+ for a phone, I want to be proud to show off the design. So far it brings nothing to the table.

In short, this is looking like the exact same specs as the HTC 10/S7 with Pure Google software. The hardware on its own doesn't excite.

Redeeming Areas:
- UFS Storage. Would love the speed and wouldn't mind losing an SD card slot for faster read/write speeds.
- Financing. This would soften the blow of a more expensive phone.
- Quick updates. This is a given and the best part of the phone.
- OEM unlocking. Ensure me that this phone will be the best developer device on the market.

Open to other's thoughts.
