I've got my replacement Note7, and in the settings under sound, called "Sound Quality and Effects". I don't remember seeing it there on the one I exchanged, but I might be wrong.
Either way, it's amazing and I am shocked nobody has mentioned it if it isn't new. Under the "Adapt Sound" option on the menu, it uses a wizard interface to build you a frikkin CUSTOM AUDIOGRAM. In case you are unaware, no two people's hearing is the same, everyone has weak and strong points across the audio spectrum, and an audiogram is the means to track what those are. It's how they program modern hearing aids, identifying the areas you can't hear well and amplifying them so they are equal with the rest of your hearing. The Note 7 can now do this whole process completely in-box with your normal earbuds so you can hear the sounds your ears are bad at hearing better, which is a pretty astounding feature, and definitely one you should check out if you haven't.
