Requirements: To flash the 10C ZIPs you must have TWRP 3.0.2 or higher. And, of course, you must have your bootloader unlocked for TWRP to work. Currently only H850 EU variants have official unlock. Please do not ask if "model x" is supported... did you unlock via LG's official unlock tool? Yes? then you can use the zip. No?.. then you should skip the ZIPs and just flash the KDZ instead.
Install Directions: These directions should be used by everyone who wants a rooted 10C system. Don't want root? Then it's probably easiest to just flash the stock KDZ using LGUP or LG Bridge... or just skip the SuperSu steps.
There are currently NO confirmed 100% safe/working methods to manually flash KDZ/TOT files to the G5. LGUP may work if you add the H850 info into the Windows Registry... but it also may brick you. Until someone is brave enough to try and confirm the only way to flash a KDZ is the official route with LG Bridge but many of you many not have 10C available. So the only route is if you are unlocked and flash the ZIPs in TWRP or have 10C or higher available in LG Bridge. I will update this spot when something new is confirmed.
1. Download the following two files and place them on your phones internal or external SD card (best to use external if you want to keep data encrypted)
A. LG-H85010C-Flashable.COMPLETE.zip B. Also download the latest SuperSU 2.65 or higher. [STABLE] or [BETA] Thanks to Chainfire!
2. (re)Boot into TWRP if not there already. 3.* Backup current partitions: boot, system, data, efs (backing up anything is optional but suggested) 4.* Up to you if you want to wipe data (TWRP > Wipe > Swipe slider) but not needed if coming from stock 10A, 10B or 10C. 5. Install the two zip files you put on your sdcard, 1 at a time:
A. LG-H85010C-Flashable.COMPLETE.zip (Install > select zip > swipe to confirm/flash) B. SuperSU zip (Install > select zip > swipe to confirm/flash)
After zips finish flashing you can reboot! If TWRP asks if you want to install SU, hit no. If TWRP says No OS installed, ignore it.
LG-H85010C-Flashable.Bootloader.zip This is a flashable stock 10C bootloader. It contains aboot, factory, hyp, laf, pmic, raw_resources, rpm, sbl1, sdi, sec and tz.
